Join a high-impact role where design meets delivery. As a Senior 2D Designer, you’ll drive decisions to closure with BMW, develop concepts through to detailed CAD drawings, and safeguard quality and compliance across your scope – working with a global project team.

What will be your responsibilities?         

• Lead day-to-day problem solving with the project team for customer and drive decisions to closure
• Maintain regular, structured communication with customer – updates, reviews, and change alignment
• Take ownership of defined D&D scopes, ensuring full compliance with customer and LEONI norms/specs
• Develop concepts and detailed 2D harness designs in CAD, from first draft to release
• Develop concepts and wiring schematics in CAD, aligned with system requirements and manufacturability
• Check and validate technical documentation; create and update technical drawings ready for release
• Contribute within an international project team, coordinating interfaces and dependencies
• Travel to customer sites when needed to understand context and accelerate issue resolution.

What do we expect from you?

• Technical education (mechanical engineering preferred; production experience is a plus)
• Active English or German communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for working with structured engineering data
• Strong technical mindset, precision, accountability, and attention to detail
• Experience with 2D design tools; minimum 3 years in a relevant engineering/design role (preferred)
• Comfortable working independently and within a global team; adaptable to changing priorities
• Motivation to grow into a technical expert and contribute across multiple business areas

Basic gross guaranteed salary: from 1800 EUR/Brutto + 13th salary The final basic wage component will be adjusted to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
