As part of its international growth strategy, the Environment activity is strengthening its commercial presence in the Middle East, where our smart water business is already established and smart grids represent a major growth opportunity as well as our street lighting solutions.
Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing LACROIX’s smart grids & street lighting business in the Middle East, building market presence, structuring partnerships and driving long-term growth across Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.
Main Missions :
- Screen and structure the regional market (end users, integrators, distributors, partners),
- Develop strong relationships with customers, channel partners and system integrators,
- Identify and develop new partners; strengthen or replace existing ones when needed,
- Actively hunt for business opportunities and leads,
- Contribute to brand visibility and value perception in the region,
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to adapt offers to market expectations.
Role Specificities :
- Position based in Saudi Arabia, covering the GCC region (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt…),
- High autonomy in a market under strong competition.
Team / Interactions :
- Direct hierarchical reporting to the International Sales Manager,
- Close collaboration with marketing, product management and BU sales teams,
- Regular international sales reviews and regional meetings.
Qualifications
The profile we are looking for :
Must-have :
- Proven business development experience in smart grids or public energy infrastructure,
- Strong hunter mindset and ability to open new markets,
- Solid regional business network in the Middle East,
- Fluent Arabic and English.
Nice-to-have :
- Engineering or technical background,
- Experience working with system integrators and public sector customers.
