Job Description
Our top-tier Restructuring team works alongside companies facing complex financial and commercial challenges. We develop creative pathways to stabilse and restructure a business and support the recovery or creation of value on behalf of stakeholders. Our work spans a variety of industries and no situation is the same.
As a Restructuring Advisor you will work on a diverse range of engagements, providing strategic advice to corporates, financiers and government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior leaders to develop and deliver restructuring strategies.
- Interrogate data, evaluate options and prepare recommendations for our clients.
- Help clients analyse and understand the performance and position of their business.
- Implement solutions that are as varied as the challenges our client’s face; this may include selling distressed assets, reorganising capital structures or raising debt and/or equity.
- Identify and undertake research on target companies and prepare pitch documents.
- Participate in business development and marketing activities.
- Contribute to the learning and development of our team.
Qualifications
You are a professionally qualified (Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant) with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in consulting, audit, transactions, deals and execution and will have:
- Empathy, integrity and strong interpersonal qualities.
- Excellent analytical skills supported by an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You will have experience with financial modelling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be required to interact at all levels of our client organisations.
- Structured problem-solving skills, including a logical, disciplined approach to deconstructing problems into their core issues.
- Project management skills, with an ability to manage clients and project teams to positively influence change.
- Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced, highly adaptive environment with a bias towards action and driving rapid outcomes.
- Commercial acumen.
- An ability to visualise our clients' goals and think creatively to facilitate them.
