Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Product Specialist
REPORTS TO: Product Specialist Manager
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Sales Organization with identifying and quoting Spares Parts for KONECRANES and Legacy Brand Hoists & Crane Components, this includes the following functions:
· Review parts request from Sales, requests are received via Efecte.
· Use multiple ERP systems, drawings and historical data to help with the identification and quoting of parts.
· In addition to quoting the requested parts, be proactive in quoting any additional parts that may be necessary to make the repairs.
· Use Price Estimator to establish list prices for Manufactured Parts.
· Interact with Purchasing Group/Vendors to get current pricing and delivery times for purchased parts.
· Work with local Data Integrity Team for the creation of new ID’S, Master Data and pricing updates and replacement ID’S for obsolete parts
· Request support from internal suppliers for Parts Identification and Pricing.
· Work with Engineering to supply solutions for obsolete parts.
· Respond to all quote requests within 48 hours.
· Prepare recommended Spare Parts Packages for Hoists and or Complete Cranes.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Minimum 2-year degree in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE: Prior overhead crane experience a plus
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Proficient with SAP, Siebel CRM, Efecte and Microsoft Office
