Job Description

Role Description: 

•Responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse to support Konecranes’ 
Industrial Service & Equipment business in Malaysia. This role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate handling of  spare parts, components, and equipment for overhead cranes, while maintaining compliance with company standards, policies, and safety regulations.

Key Tasks : 
• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of      crane components and spare parts. 
• Responsible for posting goods receipt and goods issue transactions in the SAP system. 
• Ensure all deliveries to internal and external customers are accurate and properly documented. 
• Provide a timely supply of spare parts and materials for crane servicing, maintenance, and installation       projects. 
• Coordinate packaging arrangements with third-party service providers according to customer requirements. 
• Lead weekly toolbox meetings and share the latest safety requirements. 
• Conduct regular safety briefings, risk assessments, and promote a safety-first culture. 
• Responsible for ensuring the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and arranging   calibration in accordance with established procedures to maintain compliance with operational standards. 
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits of the warehouse equipment checklist in accordance with HSE 
  requirements. 
• Enforce warehouse safety standards, housekeeping, and compliance with local regulations and Konecranes’ global EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies. 
• Strictly adhere to Konecranes ISO and QMS policies. 
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits to ensure alignment with physical inventory. 
• Fully involved in year-end stock take preparation, assisting auditors with stock counting, and ensuring 
  compliance with stock take policies. 
• Manage warehouse space efficiently by regularly checking and arranging stock for optimal space     utilization. 
• Responsible for ensuring all stock release documents are properly acknowledged by the receiver in     accordance with warehouse procedures, and for filing these documents as instructed for auditing purposes. 

• Oversee manpower allocation for scrap collection activities and monitor the delivery of the collected scrap.  
• Lead, supervise, and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient performance and adherence to procedures.  
• Develop and motivate team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.  
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.  
• Support lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations & KPI.  
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and reduce costs.  
• Collaborate with Service, Procurement, and Logistics teams to streamline supply chain processes.  
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior.  

Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) 
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills 
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 
• Effective communication and ability to work under deadlines
