Seeking a star head chef for our eatery.

Employment commencing early January.

Our eatery is located at the front of our open plan warehouse opening onto a sunny courtyard.

Seating inside and out is for approximately 60 people. We offer a comprehensive menu focusing on quality, seasonal produce, locally sourced where possible. We also offer a small selection of cabinet food. There is also strong emphasis on top notch coffee , obviously (:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced senior chef to come on board and continue paving the way for our successful business.

A huge benefit with this position is we're a day time cafe...so no night time work or split shifts! The position includes at least one weekend day.

Key attributes - you will be passionate about food as well as being able to follow carefully curated recipes to a very high standard. We also value creative input from our chefs with designing new menus and exciting dishes.

Responsibilities include:

*Delivery of food to a high standard communicating directly with the head chef and business owner .

• Managing the kitchen team
• managing stock control and ordering
• Helping with menu inputs etc
• Ensure all operational processes and procedures are adhered to including food and workplace hygiene.
• Maintaining a high level of customer service and a positive team culture.
• You will be able to set high standards and work towards achieving performance targets.
• Presenting oneself well and being reliable, we're a tight team.
• Above all else we are seeking that special someone who can work hard yet have fun and get on well with a close knit fun team.
