Job Description

The Design Supervisor oversees the execution of healthcare marketing design projects, ensuring work meets creative, brand, regulatory, and quality standards while staying on schedule. The role provides hands-on design leadership and mentorship to designers and manages workflows across concurrent deliverables. Working closely with Creative Direction and Account teams, the Design Supervisor translates project requirements and strategy into clear design direction and consistent execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee design execution across healthcare marketing projects, using Adobe Creative Suite to ensure deliverables meet quality, brand, regulatory, and timeline requirements.
  • Mentor junior designers through actionable design feedback, creative direction, and reviews that strengthen quality and consistency across deliverables.
  • Manage design workflows, schedules, resource allocation, and cross-functional dependencies to support reliable delivery across concurrent projects.
  • Conduct design reviews and quality assurance for multi-asset campaigns before delivery, ensuring alignment with brand standards, strategic requirements, and regulated healthcare review processes.
  • Collaborate with Creative Direction and Account teams to translate project scope, client requirements, and campaign strategy into clear design direction for the team.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5–8 years of design experience in marketing, advertising, or creative agency environments, including demonstrated ownership of design deliverables and supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, demonstrated through the development and review of professional multi-channel marketing or advertising deliverables.
  • Experience mentoring designers and conducting design reviews, with demonstrated responsibility for maintaining quality and consistency across multiple deliverables or campaigns.
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising, with demonstrated familiarity with regulated design standards, brand compliance requirements, and MLR/PRC review processes.
  • Experience managing design production workflows across concurrent projects, including prioritizing resources, coordinating dependencies, and maintaining brand and quality consistency across complex multi-asset campaigns.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Design leadership certification or advanced design education, with demonstrated application to design direction or healthcare creative work.
  • Experience delivering creative work across therapeutic areas such as oncology, rare disease, cardiovascular, or neurology.
  • Experience with digital production workflows, accessibility standards, or responsive design across healthcare digital channels.
  • Experience using generative AI or other emerging creative technologies for ideation, concepting, or asset production.

Additional Information

This posting is for an existing vacancy at Klick.

The base salary range for this position is between CAD $90,000 - $120,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
