Job Description

The Senior Media Planning Specialist leads digital media planning and campaign execution across multiple channels. This role translates business objectives into channel strategies, KPIs, and measurable media plans. Working closely with clients and cross-functional teams, this individual ensures budget accuracy, performance optimization, and clear, insight-driven reporting.

What You’ll Do

Develop strategic media plans across display, SEM, paid social, and programmatic, with exposure to TV/CTV/OLV where applicable.
Translate client objectives into KPIs, channel allocations, and tactical recommendations in collaboration with Client Services and Strategy teams.
Manage and reconcile media budgets (including campaigns up to $3M+), maintaining pacing accuracy within ±5% using Excel and Prisma where applicable.
Analyze campaign performance using platforms such as DCM and DV, delivering monthly reporting with clear data visualization in Excel and PowerPoint.
Present media plans, optimizations, and performance insights directly to clients and external partners.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3–4+ years of agency media planning experience with ownership of the full campaign lifecycle (briefing, planning, execution, optimization, reporting).
  • Hands-on experience across digital channels including display, SEM, paid social, and programmatic.
  • Proven ability to build strategic media plans from business objectives through KPIs and present recommendations in client-facing meetings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, budget reconciliation) and PowerPoint with experience producing client-ready reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing campaign data and translating insights into measurable optimization actions using tools such as DCM or DV.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience managing large-scale media budgets ($3M+ annually).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Prisma and research platforms including Nielsen, NMI, or Kantar.
  • Exposure to pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing campaigns and omni-channel planning.

Additional Information

This posting is for a newly created role at Klick.

The base salary range for this position is between CAD $70,000 - $80,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
