Job Description

At KVH, rural medicine means broad-scope practice with strong specialty support, modern facilities, and leadership that listens to physicians. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients across generations while enjoying flexibility rarely found in larger systems.

The Physician is responsible for providing care to patients. This includes evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and documentation. The Physician is an integral part of the patient care team of providers, nurses and medical assistants. Clinic hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm with afterhours telephone call (shared among all clinic providers). 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of appropriate License or Certification, including
    • Washington State License
    • Drug Enforcement Administration
    • National Provider Identifier
  • Completion of residency
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine 
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (maintenance required)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous exposure to clinic environment
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Previous teaching experience

Wage: $337,762 - $375,000 this is a guaranteed base salary plus production and quality incentives. Plus 10% employer contribution to pension plan.
