Job Description

KIOXIA America Inc. is seeking a Contracts Administrator to assist the Contracts Team in the Legal Department.  KIOXIA’s Contract Administrator will be responsible for coordinating legal review of contracts, provides contract consultation and insights, and tracking the life-cycle of contracts from initial request to archiving.  This role is suited for someone with a keen eye for detail, aptitude for learning quickly, perseverance in managing multiple priorities flawlessly with minimal guidance, and who enjoys working in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • From cradle-to-grave, administers the workflow of contracts throughout multi-functional teams from inception through to final release and distribution.  
  • Negotiates and drafts a wide variety of agreements/contracts/letters.
  • Proactively maintains processes and ensures adherence of policies and contract compliance between the Legal Department and other Business Units.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities and makes recommendations of improvements for the Contracts Administration capability.
  • Reviews contracts for ambiguities or other issues; suggest alternative language to address such concerns.
  • Assists Purchasing Department with processing PRs/POs.
  • Maintains contract database and physical files.
  • Provides high-level technical guidance to Legal Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of contract drafting and negotiation including key areas in reviewing software licenses, purchasing, & SOWs.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Superb communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Word (document creation, redlining), Excel (including formula creation), Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Corporate Record Web searching.
