🚀 The Image Processing team from the Video Systems department at KEENFINITY is looking for an enthusiastic Embedded Software Intern!

🛠️ Your Tasks

You will be working on a prototype of a new auto focus algorithm for KEENFINITY security cameras. These cameras rely on numerous control loops and algorithms to deliver the best image performance under all lighting conditions. The installer auto focus function (single-click) is critical for fast and reliable deployment, making this an impactful and visible assignment.

Your tasks will include:

• Gathering requirements for the application;

• Creating design documentation using UML;

• Implementing the prototype algorithm directly on the camera hardware;

• Implementing thorough test coverage for validation;

• Organizing and presenting multiple demos throughout the internship period.

🎓 What You Bring:

• You are currently studying Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Embedded Systems or a similar direction;
• You have the knowledge in C++;
• You are familiar with Object Oriented Programming;
• You are proficient in English verbal and written;
• You are available for the minimum internship period of 6 months, preferably longer;
• You can work at our office in Eindhoven;
• You are based in the Netherlands, preferably in Eindhoven.

• Knowledge/affinity with image processing domain;
• Familiarity with gtest, Git, and/or UML;
• Strong motivation;
• Team player and able to work independently;
• Proactive and not afraid to take charge;
• Open attitude, suitable for an internationally oriented environment;
• You are interested in and/or have an affinity with technical products.
