Job Description

Kanadevia Inova are hiring a Site Supervisor for field based call out work, to our client sites around the UK and occasionally Europe.

38 hours per week (Mon-Thu 8 hours & Fri 6 hours). Over time rates for Monday to Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays.

As part of the service for some clients, an On-Call element is added to the package. As such, employees may be required to be on a rotating On-Call rota system 1 week in every 6 weeks.

Active call out duty means the employee will be expected to:
• be available to take calls from active sites
• if necessary, attend site to resolve specific issues
• remain compliant to attend site in accordance with site rules

Where applicable and if eligibility criteria is met within our company policy, there can be certain allowances such as; daily accommodation allowance, daily meal allowance, on-call allowance and travel time.

Job Duties

  • HSEQ Leadership: Demonstrates strong leadership in promoting HSEQ compliance and encourages HZI and contractors to meet project HSEQ requirements.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensures HSE hazards are mitigated and risk assessments (RAMS) are followed to safeguard personnel and operations.
  • Performance and Compliance: Responsible for HSE performance, halting work when safety is compromised, and ensuring work aligns with schedules, budgets, and contract terms.
  • Quality and Certifications: Reviews and approves welding procedures, certifications, NDE results, and monitors welding activities to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Works with project managers and partners, tracks progress, manages deviations, shares lessons learned, and ensures closure of punch items.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds Level 3 Engineering
  • CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector
  • Experienced as supervisor in delivering Boiler Pressure Parts services to a large industrial plant and the co-ordination of contracts / contractors on site
  • Experienced in the Inspection and approval of Boiler pressure part welding in accordance with companies welding quality system, procedures and policies
  • Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), valid Safety Contractors Certificate or equivalent
  • Good command of English
