Job Description
In this role, you will lead two teams, VoIP Interconnect and VoIP Monitoring, and contribute to the reliability of our voice services (a total of 18 FTE). You ensure that the teams not only carry out operational tasks but also achieve strategic goals, such as further automating monitoring (autonomous operations) and migrating the platform to a virtual network solution.
- Translate company strategy into annual plans and long-term roadmaps for your teams.
- Budget responsibility for the teams.
- Lead the team to ensure high quality in our network and monitoring services. You will be available as a point of contact for your team during major escalations.
- Take the lead in innovations, including virtualization and automation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Maintain oversight and report on progress and performance.
Qualifications
You have the ability to translate vision into concrete plans and guide teams through them. As a leader, you know how to inspire teams and achieve results, while always keeping an eye on quality and innovation. You can effectively determine where priorities should lie and clearly involve various stakeholders. Naturally, you feel at home in an agile work environment. To do this successfully, you at least have:
- A university-level working and thinking ability with extensive telecom experience.
- Knowledge of network technologies in complex organizations, ideally with expertise in VoIP/telephony technology based on the SIP protocol.
- Experience in optimizing work processes in operational environments (DevOps), ideally using LEAN/SixSigma.
- Experience in coaching agile teams towards higher maturity and continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
