We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer/Architect to design, build, and deploy cutting-edge AI, data, integration, and cloud platforms. In this role, you will lead the development of scalable, secure, and efficient platforms that support the needs of modern enterprises, working at the intersection of AI, cloud technologies, and advanced data integration. This is a strategic role that combines technical expertise, architectural vision, and hands-on platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable platforms for AI, data, and cloud solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Lead the end-to-end platform engineering lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, including infrastructure, application, and data components.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, including data scientists, software engineers, and product teams, to define platform requirements.
• Drive integration efforts between AI, machine learning models, data pipelines, and cloud services to deliver innovative solutions.
• Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP), ensuring alignment with industry standards and the organisation's architectural guidelines.
• Oversee the deployment and management of cloud-based solutions, ensuring continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation.
• Optimise platform performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness through robust monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements for data and platform operations.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in AI, data engineering, cloud computing, and platform integration.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying AI and data platforms, including experience with machine learning and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), cloud-native architectures, and multi-cloud environments.
• Proficiency in integration technologies (APIs, microservices, data integration, message queues).
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and automation tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and data environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is a plus.
