The banking team is part of the Financial Risk Management segment within KPMG Advisory. As a Senior Consultant Banking you will work on different projects for a wide variety of clients within financial services. You will be part of a young, international, multidisciplinary and motivated team and work in an informal yet professional atmosphere. Within this challenging environment you will get the chance to learn continuously and develop yourself to become aa strategic advisor in the field.
Job Description
- You want to support banks in their change programs regarding topics like credit risk, liquidity risk, balance sheet management (BSM) and emerging risks (like ESG, geopolitical), where the need for change is often driven by changing regulations
- You are keen to deliver the highest possible quality for your clients
- You are not afraid of technical topics and can translate technical insights into a clear storyline for senior management
- You take ownership of your tasks, get things done and can work on multiple projects at the same time
- You meet new people, gain their trust, build relationships and connect the right people with each other
Qualifications
- MSc. degree in, for example, economics, finance, econometrics, mathematics or environmental economics
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience within financial services or consultancy
- You have professional knowledge of and experience in banking regulations (CRR, CRD, Basel, IFRS9) and have an interest in data and/or AI developments.
- You take full responsibility of the work you do and you can work independently
- You like team collaboration and can work well under time pressure
- A compelling motivation letter is required to complete your application
Additional Information
- Gross salary between €3,965 and €5,050 per month depending on your work experience, profit sharing, a fixed expense allowance, and a working from home allowance of €2.40 per working day.
