The role of a senior manager can vary depending on the industry (focus on FMCG, Retail, Energy & Utilities and Discreet Manufacturing) and the specific needs of the organization. In general, our senior managers must combine good knowledge of the business needs and goals of the organization, with the deep understanding of the technologies they are working with.
A couple of things to give more perspective on the challenges we bring to you:

  • Overall, a senior manager plays a critical role in helping organizations leverage their technology to achieve their business goals and objectives in the Finance domain
  • Working with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that the solution meets their needs and is aligned with the organization's goals
  • Analyzing business requirements/use cases and identifying required technology solutions/configurations that will meet those requirements
  • Developing detailed plans and strategies for implementing SAP SCM technology solutions
  • Advise on technical integration of the SAP application with other client and 3rd party tools/applications
  • Advise on data migration and data integrity as part of the deployment engagement
  • Identifying potential risks and issues and developing plans to mitigate them
  • Lead the growth of one of the SAP capabilities through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership and supporting the career aspirations of team members
  • Selecting and implementing hardware and software components, and ensuring that they are integrated effectively

 

Job Description

As senior manager, you are the linking pin between business and IT to solution/design complex SAP architecture and software solutions that allow our customers to move to the next generation SAP technology S/4HANA, Central Finance, SAP Analytics Cloud and BTP. The main responsibility of a senior manager is to create a plan and strategy how a technology solution will be implemented, including determining the hardware and software components needed, and how they will work together to achieve the desired outcome. Experience in also estimating the workload for this is a pre.

The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (e.g. SAP, Ariba) to lead and deliver client programs, support pre-sales activities and develop improvement and extensions to Powered Enterprise.

Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor/Master’s degree studies
  • 10+ years of consulting experience and deep understanding and knowledge of digital trends in the technology enablement / finance solutions area S/4HANA (FiCo, AA, AP/AR, Margin Analysis, SAC, etc.)
  • Proven record of consulting experience for large scale SAP transformation programs (SAP system strategy, design, estimating, build and deployment experience)
  • A proactive communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in English language and Dutch oriented and/or willing to learn fast
