Our KDN Bulgaria Cloud unit is focused on designing, building, securing and managing cloud native and hybrid platforms for the KPMG group of member firms, as well as providing cloud advisory and engineering services to external clients.
The Identity Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Entra ID is responsible for designing, implementing, and operating enterprise identity and access management solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on modern identity security, authentication, authorization, identity governance, privileged access management, and automation, helping strengthen security posture while supporting business agility and regulatory compliance.
Job Description
- Hands‑on experience supporting and operating Microsoft Identity services in a large‑scale enterprise environment, including Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), ADFS, Microsoft PKI (AD CS), AD-integrated DNS and hybrid identity and authentication integrations.
- Expert‑level technical knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts and technologies, including authentication, authorization, federation, lifecycle management, Privileged Access Management (PIM/PAM), and role‑based access control (RBAC).
- Engineer and maintain identity lifecycle management processes, user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access governance workflows.
- Design and implement identity security controls aligned with Zero Trust principles and modern security frameworks.
- Integrate Microsoft Entra ID with enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, cloud services, and third-party identity providers.
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and Infrastructure as Code practices to improve efficiency and standardization.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, platform, and application teams to secure Azure, AWS, GCP, and SaaS workloads through centralized identity controls.
- Troubleshoot complex authentication, authorization, federation, and identity integration issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven hands-on experience designing and supporting Microsoft Entra ID environments within enterprise-scale organizations.
- Experience with hybrid identity architectures utilizing Active Directory and Microsoft Entra Connect.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and cloud services with Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience supporting IAM and security initiatives across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, and Microsoft Graph API integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to advise stakeholders on identity security risks, governance strategies, security architecture, and remediation activities.
