We are looking for a passionate senior consultant to join our Automation & Innovation team, working with the audit and assurance division. This role offers the chance to make a direct and meaningful impact in a rapidly growing team. Your Opportunity
Form part of the Automation & Innovation team where you will perform a key role in design, build and support cutting edge technology to support Audit clients by:
- Applying your knowledge to build solutions using tools such as Python, VBA, Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, Spark, Power Platform and AI-power solutions for a range of clients with a focus on audit quality & innovation.
- You will be key member of the team that will have an innovative mindset, planning proactively, driving work forward, thinking several steps ahead, and strive to get the best outcomes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional (e.g. audit teams, data scientists, business analysts) teams to design, develop, and deploy both custom and standardized software applications.
- Constant learning to understand how new technical methodology can be applied in our day-by-day job.
- Working in an Agile framework for software development building and delivery.
- Witnessing firsthand the improvement and streamline of processes impact of automation in the audit processes.
- Access training programs and resources to stay updated on industry trends.

Your Experience

- Bachelors in: Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science
or
Work experience in: Automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or Information Technology.
- You have some experience/interest in business, finance, accounting, and auditing. Previous experience of working at Big 4 preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft office.
- Critical thinking, problem solving and & communication skills.
- Basic Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Git and their role in the agile methodology.
- You have experience in multiple of the following technology areas:
- Cloud hosted/developed technologies (Eg. Databricks, AWS, Azure etc…)
- Programming languages like Python, Spark, C# or VBA.
- Low code languages like power apps or power automate
- Use of Azure DevOps and GIT to manage and track changes in your codebase effectively.
- You built multiple automation solutions in your previous roles based on the technologies mentioned above.
- You apply design thinking principles to create user-centric solutions.
- risk requirements, understanding data sensitivity and security principles, checking licenses for business usage against open source, maintaining version control.
- You understand Agile methodology for software development, and active in sprint planning and stand-up to highlight work progression, issues and blockers.
