Job Description

Who we’re looking for 

Our Marketing Team Lead will own the complete marketing function at vaylens, overseeing growth and demand generation, as well as product and partner marketing. You will be the linchpin connecting product, sales, customer success, and partnerships — defining how vaylens is seen, how leads are generated, and how we win in our target markets. This role is perfect for someone strategic and execution-oriented; you’ll set vision and lead the team, but you’ll also roll up your sleeves and own critical initiatives when needed. Responsibilities for this role are up to you to define and (re)prioritise, such as: 

 

Growth and demand generation 

  • Build and manage multi-channel acquisition strategies, full-funnel campaigns, and lead nurturing 
  • Maintain clarity and focus for your team, stakeholders, and the management team through prioritisation, planning, reporting, and striking an effective balance between long-term growth investments vs. short-term wins 
  • Lead competitive analysis and market research to shape direction, positioning, differentiation 
  • Refine marketing operations, attribution models and performance dashboards 

 

Sales, product, and partner enablement 

  • Plan and manage tradeshows, owned events, and related campaigns and logistics across our three key regions 
  • Oversee feature launches and the development of positioning, messaging, customer stories, and other collateral 
  • Develop GTM launches and co-marketing programs (i.e. joint PR, webinars, tradeshows, etc.) with key partners 
  • Gather and leverage market insights, customer feedback, and usage data to refine campaigns and provide employees and partners with training and frameworks 

 

Team management 

  • Mentor and grow a high-performing marketing team 
  • Manage sales and marketing budgets, forecast ROI and optimise spend 
  • Integrate and oversee marketing tools and automation 
  • Report key metrics and present business impact to executive leadership 
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, product- and partner management, and customer success 

 

Qualifications

  • You have 8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing (with 3+ years in leadership) with deep experience in go-to-market strategy, growth marketing, demand generation, product marketing, and/or partner marketing 

  • You have a track record of driving measurable revenue growth from marketing campaigns 

  • You’re obsessed with metrics that matter, but know when to trust intuition and storytelling 

  • You prioritise ruthlessly and move fast but not at the expense of your teammates 

  • You guide your team with trust and empathy and create an environment where everyone feels heard, respected and enabled to do their best work 

  • You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity, scaling processes across growth stages 

  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
