Overall Purpose of the Job

The Trainee will provide essential support to the IT PMO / project managers in the day-to-day tasks. IT PMO / Project Managers play a critical role in supporting across various business projects by ensuring adherence to standard processes, managing project data quality, and maintaining the overall project portfolio. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to build a future career in IT PMO / project management by learning through hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

 

Job Description:

  • Support IT PMO and PM team with their activities, ensuring smooth operations. Support in preparing necessary project and team related reports / presentation.

 

  • Provide assistance in key areas such as utilisation and productivity reports, customer satisfaction reports, and other organisational related task.

 

  • Assistance in updating project management processes, templates, and documentation under the guidance of senior PMO.

 

  • Assistance in regular content update of the team’s internal page on SharePoint, access management, participate in organising team events, support team related administrative tasks.

 

  • Participate to monthly project review meetings, process improvements and organizational related meetings.

 

  • Assistance in creating regular status reports and other materials needed for senior meetings.

 

  • Assistance in managing project-related logs such as risk & issue logs, actions logs, and ensure they are regularly updated and accurate if needed.

Qualifications

 

  • Ongoing full-time BSc or MSc studies at least until June 2025 in;
  • min 20 hours per week working availability
  • Proficient oral and written English
  • Strong user level MS Office skills (Excel /MS Outlook/PowerPoint)

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
