Job Description
Helping Hands Noosaville is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Assistant Coordinator to join our growing Helping Hands service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll shape culture, drive quality, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.
This is a permanent, part-time role (25 hours per week) working across split shifts, Monday to Friday. This is the perfect opportunity for an education, psychology, social work or healthcare student as we work around your busy schedule.
Service hours include:
- Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
- Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

About the role
The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team, you’ll gain hands-on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite
- Build your confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration
- Create exciting, child-led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft experiences
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community
- Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management opportunities
Qualifications
- Mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
- Has Australian work rights
