Job Description

As an OSHC Permanent Educator, you’ll work at Helping Hands Golden Beach, giving you the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with the families, children, your team, and the wider school community. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts and hours: 15 hours per week, across Monday - Friday before school 6:30am - 9:00am shift and after school 2:30pm - 6:00pm shift. Extra hours available during school holidays too! The minimum availability for this role is 3 afternoon shifts per week.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with children. 
  • A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role 
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
  • Blue Card
  • Australian working rights.
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)  
  • Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
