Job Title: Holiday Club & Wraparound Care Manager

Location: Bradford-on-Avon, BA15
Start Date: 20 July 2026
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: £33,280 per annum

Club Operational Hours in setting

School Holidays:

  • 08:30 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays)
  • Initial summer period: 20 July – 2 September

Term Time:

  • 07:30 – 09:00 (Breakfast Club)
  • Lunchtime cover
  • 15:00 – 18:00 (After School Club)

Please note: The role operates year-round, including all future school holidays.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Holiday Club & Wraparound Care Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our childcare provision in Bradford-on-Avon.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality childcare in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of the holiday club and wraparound care provision
  • Lead, manage, and support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities and programmes
  • Manage rotas and staffing to ensure appropriate ratios are maintained
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and school staff
  • Handle queries, feedback, and any concerns professionally
  • Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements
  • Monitor budgets and manage resources effectively
  • Maintain high standards across all aspects of the provision

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or above) – essential
  • Proven experience in a childcare, club, or similar leadership role
  • Strong team leadership and staff management skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work under pressure
  • A proactive, positive, and child-focused approach
  • This role would particularly suit candidates with a primary school teaching or similar childcare background

This role is subject to safeguarding requirements in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
