Job Title: Part‑Time Agricultural Engineer – Greenhouse Production, Outreach & Training

Location: Adloun, South Lebanon (must be able to commute to Beirut and other areas of Lebanon also)

Commitment: Part‑time Job

Experience: Minimum 3 years in orchard management and greenhouse production. Outreach, training, and community mobilization is a plus.

Role Overview: We’re seeking a seasoned Ag Engineer based around Adloun or South area to lead greenhouse production, deliver hands-on training, and drive community outreach. Travelling to Beirut and other regions of Lebanon is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greenhouse Production: Design, manage, and optimize greenhouse crop production.
• Outreach & Social Development: Call, evaluate and outreach potential beneficiaries
• Training & Mentoring: Prepare and deliver technical workshops and field training sessions to the beneficiaries
• Field Travel: Regular visits to Adloun, will be asked to visit Beirut and other areas of Lebanon, and other sites for support
• Should have experience in managing avocado, banana, sumac, and spring onion production.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• At least 3 years’ experience in field related work
• Good network, able to outreach workers 
• Good management skills, able to lead a team of laborers
• Skilled trainer with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Passionate about social development and agricultural education
• Flexible schedule and willingness to travel within Lebanon

Vehicle Requirement:

• Must own a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license
• Able to travel independently to rural and city locations

Education & Certifications:

• Diploma or degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field
