Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Indapur, India. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards and local regulations.

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with Indian accounting standards
  • Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including GST requirements specific to Indapur
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to drive informed business decisions
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline financial processes
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Indian financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns and statutory reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and GST regulations
  • Familiarity with local tax regulations specific to Indapur, India
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective time management and planning capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team
  • Knowledge of regional business practices and financial reporting requirements
