Job Description
Bitarchitects is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with at least one year of experience and working knowledge of QuickBooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
- Record and classify financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts by providing accurate financial data.
- Support management in identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices and issuing payments.
- Manage accounts receivable by ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in generating financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Provide basic analysis of financial performance to support decision-making.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Stay updated on basic tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing documentation for external audits.
- Support internal controls to maintain financial integrity.
Required major: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to QuickBooks.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- CPA certification or coursework in progress is a plus.
Working hours:
Part-time job of 4 to 5 hours/day: 1:00 PM ET - 5:00 PM ET equivalent to (8:00 PM - 12:00 AM Beirut time)
