Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager to lead our luxurious property in Morocco, United States. As the Resort Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our resort operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth in this unique cross-cultural setting.

  • Oversee daily resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of hospitality professionals
  • Create and maintain budgets, financial reports, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute promotional strategies
  • Plan and coordinate special events and activities that showcase local culture and attractions
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with local Moroccan regulations and American hospitality standards
  • Continuously improve resort facilities, services, and guest experiences
  • Foster a positive work environment that embraces cultural diversity and promotes teamwork

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel or resort management, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment
  • Proven track record in financial management and budgeting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff in a multicultural setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the Moroccan hospitality industry and local regulations
  • Understanding of American hospitality standards and best practices
  • Experience in marketing, sales, and revenue management
  • Ability to make decisive decisions and solve complex problems
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic and/or French is a plus
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive customer satisfaction
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Visionary approach to resort management and innovation in guest services
