General Purpose of Job
Seeking qualified, instructors to teach elementary Skills Boost small group tutoring sessions. Reading Rocket and Second Scoop of Math are designed to meet the academic needs of students who are seeking a boost in reading, math or both! Sessions are offered to families with students going into 1st-4th grade. Our amazing tutoring curriculum aligns with district and state standards for both reading and math. Classes are held in some of our elementary school locations in a relaxed, academic setting that is conducive to learning.
Location
Location will be at Weaver Lake Elementary: A Science, Math and Technology School
Grades
1-4th grade in 2024-25 school year
Program Dates & Times
- Classes are held Monday-Thursday
- Reading from 9:00 am-10:30 am and Math from 10:45 am-12:15 pm
- Dates: July 28-31 & August 4-7
Approx. 1 teacher per 15 students
