About the role:
As a Print and Insert Operator, you’ll be supporting our mail processing group with distribution using automated printing and inserting machines. You will be responsible for tracking inventories of necessary supplies ensuring materials are available to complete production tasks in a timely manner. You will be completing and maintaining operator reports and logs recording output and productivity.  

What you will be doing:

  • Working a schedule 2pm – 10:30pm Monday through Friday

  • Sets up equipment, loads materials, clears jams and other simple malfunctions as needed

  • Performs high-speed, high-volume production tasks such as inserting printed bank and credit card statements into envelopes

  • Performs maintenance and adjusts the system as needed

  • Pays close attention to detail when printing and inserting client files according to client specific set-up instructions

  • Maintains productivity on all machines and delivers a quality product while meeting all production deadlines

What you will need:

  • Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and applications specific to the function

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Verbal and written communication skills must be clear, tactful, and constructive

  • Data entry skills

  • Requires occasional lifting, standing, walking and bending and must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
