Job Description
- Work with traders on position follow-up and any commercial issues with shippers and clients.
- Issue/ send shipping instructions to export teams in due time.
- Place booking with shipping lines where required & ensure internal database (SOL/Cargoo) accuracy
- Work closely with relevant internal teams, shippers, brokers and logistics service providers to ensure the best customer service, data accuracy & efficient coordination (position check, effective back-up/ handover, etc.)
- Process shipping documents (including upload onto system) and payment to shippers.
- Issue logistic documents related to assigned sales (invoices, release documents, cover letter, etc) & ensure upload of related external documents.
- Follow-up on potential Claims with suppliers/clients.
- Monitor assigned position & payables with coffee suppliers.
- Check all assigned service invoices to approve the costs.
- Check stocks in assigned warehouses on a monthly basis & report accordingly.
- Keep assigned shipper/ origin profiles up-to-date and liaise with client teams effectively on related procedural changes where relevant.
- Liaise with insurance team on onboarding of warehouse counterparties on CTRM and coverage of insured cases.
Qualifications
- BA or equivalent, with a focus on Commodity Trading, Logistics, Risk or Management as a plus.
- Other certifications a plus.
- Willing to relocate to Bandung.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years working experience.
- Experience in an international environment/ global collaboration.
- Experience in coffee trade logistics is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
- Knowledge of Incoterms, International payment terms and basic logistics knowledge.
- Knowledge of ESCC is a plus.
- Knowledge of collaborative tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.) & Business Intelligence, Power BI as a plus.
