About the role


As a Junior Software Tester/Technical Documentation Writer you’ll test and perfect the fintech products that will change the way people around the world pay, bank, and invest. This critical role involves establishing compliance processes with your team and implementing a quality maturity roadmap for each IT functional area.

You will be working directly with developers and end-users to work the software testing process and creating technical documentation. This role is a critical function required to have a complete end-to-end software development life cycle.

About the team

The Attack Surface Management Software Engineering Team specializes in developing robust internal software solutions to enhance our cybersecurity infrastructure. We focus on three main areas:

  • Cybersecurity Support: We create and maintain software that supports the cybersecurity sector, ensuring our systems are secure and resilient against threats.

  • Data Warehousing and Integration: Our team manages data warehousing and integrates various security tools, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.

  • Compliance Reporting: We develop comprehensive reporting tools to monitor and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

We are a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What you will be doing


 Testing software during the development and UAT process.

• Reviewing progress with IT leadership, technical teams and internal customers.
• Monitoring, evaluating, managing and executing audit processes.
• Providing subject matter expertise to IT teams on quality assurance methodologies.
• Making recommendations for improvements to the software development process.
• Designing and monitoring performance metrics program for quality improvement.

• Creating technical documentation for developers and end-users.

 
What you will need


• In-depth knowledge of one or more end-to-end systems lifecycle development methodologies as well as quality management and improvement.
• A background with financial services industry practices, regulations, and processes.
• Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies.
• A bachelor’s in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related discipline, or the equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have

• Familiarity with the following programming languages:

• .NET (C#)

• Java

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $84,720.00 - $142,320.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
