We are seeking a talented Business Analyst II with experience in Fintech.  In this position you have the ability to build on your professional experience and leadership skills to deliver the best product and solutions to our colleagues, clients and communities. Our team is currently focused on a critical transition that will shape our future pricing strategy and operational efficiency. we are in the process of moving from our inhouse custom designed application Pricing Tool to a new CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system to facilitate our organizations Future Forward goals.

What you will be doing

Your role will be multifaceted and critical to the Pricing Development team.

  • Work closely with Stakeholders including Product Owners, management and technical team to understand their needs and gather requirements.

  • Document functional and non-functional requirements clearly and comprehensively ensuring they are agreed upon by stakeholders.

  • Analyse existing business processes to identify areas of improvement, inefficiencies and opportunities to automate.

  • You’ll be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis, planning, overseeing, and managing multiple large and/or complex projects to create specification documents for development.

  • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

  • Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding strategic decision making and driving innovation and fostering improvements.

  • Evaluate the functionality of new product releases and present and give details of the project to the stakeholders.

  • Preform testing to identify and isolate defects and communicate findings to Development team.

What you bring:

  • Proven track record at least five years’ experience in business analysis, able to demonstrate a deep understanding of business processes.

  • Ability to analyse complex business problems, identify the root causes and develop innovative solutions.

  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills (full suite of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel (advanced create formulas), Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI (queries and reports), Publisher Web Conferencing.

  • Attention to detail, Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make decisions  

  • Test functionality based on specification documents.

  • Ability to readily identify requirements and scope out relevant negative/positive scenarios at every stage of the process as well as identify opportunities needing correction.

  • The ability to work within a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Bonus if you have:

  • Six Sigma or Lean

  • Strong Leadership or Project Managing abilities

  • Oracle CPQ or Salesforce CPQ

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $84,720.00 - $142,320.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
