The Opportunity

We are seeking an HRIS Specialist who will provide HRIS data entry and project support for the Human Resources department and provide information and assistance to professional staff.  Responsible for data entry, special projects and assignments.  Provides training resources for domestic Human Resources domestic wide. (Hybrid role)

  • Responsible for new hire process including accurate data entry into Workday.
  • Prepares new hire orientation packages and associated paperwork, including new hire and manager letters/emails, orientation and paid time off schedules.
  • Assists with scheduling new hires for training and orientation.  Coordinates with Network Technology and Benefits to ensure all new hires receive appropriate training and/or materials.
  • Responsible for assisting with opening and closing all active job requests, applicant tracking all qualified applicants, and assisting HRIS team with government reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for managing Workday data entry for various transactions including new hire, termination, and change of status for New York and international offices.
  • Responsible for various data audits and ensures accurate reporting.
  • Responsible for HRIS content on the HRPI.
  • Assists with testing of business processes during Workday new releases
  • Assists with testing of various HRIS processes, as needed.
  • Manages I-9 systems for new hires and terminations.
  • Maintains personnel files and records including archiving at year end.
  • Assists with storage of all HR files, both physically and electronically.
  • Provides supports for completion of employment verifications.
  • Provides support with performance management process.
  • Provides general information to professional staff.
  • Provides support and backup to HR Executive Assistant.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Working knowledge of an integrated HRIS system, PC Databases and Spreadsheet programs (e.g., Workday and MS Office Suite)
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to deal courteously/effectively with others
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of one year Workday experience

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details.  Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

 

Salary Details

$70,000 - $75,000
