About the team:

The Operational Risk Management team works collaboratively with the business and throughout the Company to mitigate risk while supporting responsible growth of Worldpay. We’re a diverse team with the potential to have a significant positive impact both internally and for our clients.

What you will be doing:

The primary responsibility of the Operational Risk Management team is to embed risk accountability into the first line whilst supporting the strategic objectives using your risk management expertise to ensure business objectives are achieved in a responsible and sustainable manner.  You will be the Risk Business Partner for our Operations Function (US) and the single point of contact for escalations to the Risk team. On a day-to-day basis, you will lead numerous initiatives and priorities while partnering with stakeholders both within the first line and across the company to identify and mitigate risk. 

Significant activities include:

  • Executive Risk Committee reporting contribution

  • Regulated Entity Board reporting contribution

  • Assisting assessment of entity top / emerging risks based on SME activities

  • Operational Risk Management Framework activities (RCSA, KRIs)

  • Engages with Group Execs/Senior Leaders

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.

  • Expertise in Risk, specifically an understanding of Operational Risk, as well as general knowledge of other Risk disciplines (Financial, Security etc) and how these impact on business performance

  • Experience with sound operational risk management practices including evaluation of risk and controls (RCSA), KRIs and Risk Appetite

  • Ability to effectively prioritize time to support business objectives

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders of all levels

  • Effective communication skills and attention to detail

  • Unmatched work ethic and strong sense of ownership

  • Ability to creatively solve problems and achieve company objectives

Added bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge of merchant acquiring services

  • Experience of Board level reporting

  • Knowledge of Operational Risk Management
