About the team

The Merchant Settlements & FX (Foreign Exchange) Product team is responsible for all aspects of the Worldpay’s core financial relationship with its merchants, and we are on a mission to make that experience more simple and flexible.

The FX Product team looks after the FX products and capabilities across a number of different categories and segments. It is a high-profile, commercially focussed team managing some of Worldpay’s most commercially successful products, however, there is headroom to grow…

What you will be doing

As a customer-focussed FX Product & Proposition Manager, you will:

• Drive greater adoption of FX products by merchants through product and propositional innovation, and through optimisation of GTM strategies
• Collaborate with customers, commercial and product teams to generate insight, explore opportunities and challenges and develop roadmaps for FX propositions across a variety of products (Acquiring, Alternative Payments, Payouts…)
• Collaborate with internal functions (Pricing, Treasury, Legal, Compliance) to explore opportunities, elicit requirements and develop end-to-end solutions
• Specify and design products, and work directly with technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with commercial and GTM teams to understand business case, identify targetable customers and develop pipeline
• Specify product success metrics, and manage throughout the product lifecycle

What you bring:

Key attributes the ideal candidate will possess

• Commercial mindset and ability to collaborate and influence at the highest level
• Experience developing successful customer-focussed propositions and products
• Experience with persona development, journey mapping and feature breakdown
• Significant knowledge of the payments industry, and ability to innovate and act as a thought leader
• Product experience from a bank, consultancy, payment institution or other relevant organisation
• Natural curiosity and ability to understand multi-faceted challenges at significant depth
• Experience delivering successful outcomes in a large, matrix environment

Added bonus if you have:

• Direct experience working with FX products on either acquiring or payouts
• Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment
• Experience managing third-party product partners
