We are looking for Actuarial Systems Support Manager to join our Actuarial Governance Team to support the development and customer use of the FIS Insurance Risk Suite (Prophet) solution, particularly customers using our managed cloud services in the region and also globally.

We sit at the forefront of the Insurance modelling industry and empower insurers and reinsurers around the world with the tools and services they need to reliably manage their risks. In the Actuarial Governance Team, you will work with our customer experience, service delivery and development teams responsible for the solution as well as with customers to help solve their problems.

What you will do:

• Support customers and customer-facing teams on Prophet system and environment related topics
• Determine root causes of issues and provide alternative solutions to problems
• Make recommendations to optimise clients use of Prophet with their infrastructure
• Feed back into product, infrastructure and other teams to ensure ongoing product and service improvements
• Review developments in the suite of products covering both actuarial library and system aspects
• Work closely with our client teams to ensure customers get the best experience and service

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or science-based subject
• At least 5 years’ experience working in a life insurance department or consultancy
• Have worked with actuarial systems, preferably the Prophet system, for a minimum of 3 years
• A background in insurance or financial services
• A good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience working as part of a large diverse, global team
• Strong problem solving and analytic skills
• Strong IT skills particularly in understanding server, networking loads and managing cloud environments
• Strong verbal and written English language skills
• Used to dealing with senior stakeholders within own organisation and at clients
• Ideal to have worked directly or supported numerous advanced Prophet modeling techniques: new business processing, calculation looping, rebasing, goal seeking, extended formulas, nested structures, modules, or dynamic and stochastic modelling
• Awareness of emerging regulatory and risk topics that will impact the financial industry, including climate related risks
• Proficient in Mandarin or Cantonese to support customers across the region
