We are looking for a Director of Systems Architecture to support our mission towards the connected trip. Responsibilities: - Design and implement our cloud data platform to meet current and future business needs - Capture the current and target state of our data architecture - Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery practices for data platforms - Collaborate with teams in Amsterdam to design and build software applications - Address and resolve live production issues - Provide architectural guidance to product teams - Manage end-to-end systems ownership, including monitoring and reducing risks - Apply critical thinking to identify and solve complex problems - Continuously improve processes and systems for better performance - Communicate effectively with different audiences and actively listen to others Ideal Experience: - Technical leadership experience with a focus on data, analytics, and integration - Proficient in Java, Scala, or Python programming languages - Experience with large-scale data processing technologies like Spark and Kafka - Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for Big Data projects - Knowledge of at least one public cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure) - Strong understanding of our technology stack and infrastructure - Excellent communication skills - Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities Salary range for this role is $160,800 - $241,200 plus bonus and RSUs.
