Job Title: Lead, Systems Engineer-Systems Security Job Code: IMS20233110-107705 Job Location: Anaheim, CA Schedule: Flexible, preferred 4/10 Job Description: As a member of the Engineering Technical Team, this position is responsible for developing, designing, executing, and testing Systems Engineering in Cryptography, Anti-Tamper, and Information Assurance for Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This role requires knowledge and practical experience in Hardware/Software design and implementation, System Architecture, and Verification/Validation/Accreditation in AT, Cryptography, and IA on real-time HW/SW applications in DoD programs. You will work closely with customers, agencies, and other engineering disciplines. Essential Functions: - Execute design, build, integration, and test activities, ensuring that the deliverable products meet all program and customer requirements. - Provide innovative Systems Engineering solutions aligned with business development plans. - Generate project management reports and support senior-level reviews as needed. - Contribute to the engineering technical baseline as part of proposal efforts. - Collaborate with the program's leadership and other teams (SW and HW) regularly, participate in customer and/or program technical review presentations, and provide progress status updates on work products. - Participate in the product development process, including design reviews. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience. - 8 years of experience in a combination of: - 4 years of experience in Hardware and/or Software detailed design and implementation. - Implementation and analysis of Cryptographic algorithms. - Experience implementing Information Assurance solutions in hardware and/or software. - Anti-Tamper (AT) solution design and implementation. - Experience with the Security Certification process and accrediting agencies. - Must be a US Citizen. Preferred Additional Skills: - Active DoD Security Clearance. - Ability to work closely with customers, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to meet customer requirements. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Experience in GPS systems and GPS receivers, M-code, ASIC, and FPGA desired. - Experience with hardware implementation or embedded software implementation. - Familiarity with GPS M-Code simulator utilization and analysis of results in support of the Security Certification process. - Knowledgeable of GPS and PNT systems in the DoD.
