ALL ABOUT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT:
Property Management (PM) is an important role at Target. PM ensures that our stores are in good shape, assets are functional, and services are completed efficiently. PM supports new initiatives and maintains our stores' appearance to provide the best experience for our guests.
As a Property Management Lead at Target, you can expect:
- Working with vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Identifying and performing maintenance on building assets and equipment
- Influencing the store team to prioritize and align project work
- Experience with plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, life safety power systems, and electrical equipment
- Understanding repair versus replace and managing costs
- Following compliance standards and Target guidelines
Responsibilities of a Property Management Lead include:
- Setting store sales goals and informing the team about PM workload priorities
- Using technology to manage daily work orders
- Evaluating store brand and maintaining assets
- Performing proactive and reactive repairs
- Supporting special projects and remodels
- Ensuring internal and external work orders are completed
- Recommending suitable candidates for PM roles
- Learning and training new PM team members
- Promoting cost-saving solutions and proper asset care
- Assisting in emergency situations when needed
- Following safety procedures and ensuring a safe work environment
- Providing excellent service to our guests
- Demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
If you enjoy working in a fun and energetic environment, providing excellent service, and stocking Target products, you might be a great fit for this role. Basic technical skills and experience working with property assets are required. Knowledge in areas like electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or plumbing would be preferred. You should also be proficient in using power tools and other equipment, have good communication skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to change location or provide coverage to nearby stores if needed
