Job Overview As part of our Wealth Management Consultation department, the Home Office Portfolio Strategist plays a crucial role in serving our high net worth clients. In this position, you will deliver personalized asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment selection advice, recommendations, and implementations. You will work closely with our branch teams to understand complex client needs and goals, providing tailored financial strategies that align with their overall financial plan. What You Will Do: - Understand the financial goals of our high net worth clients and support financial advisors in delivering personalized portfolio construction and investment strategies. - Develop and execute asset allocation and portfolio implementation solutions in alignment with client goals. - Perform investment portfolio transition analysis, considering tax and turnover implications. - Communicate investment results to financial advisors and clients. - Collaborate with internal and external experts to provide high-quality advice, planning, products, and services that meet our clients' wealth management needs. - Provide consultative support throughout the client journey, working with various service models and investment solutions. - Contribute to key strategic initiatives/projects within our Wealth Management Advice and Solutions division. - Ensure alignment with business and product strategy by partnering with internal stakeholders. - Manage branch team and client escalations, ensuring the right results are achieved. - Utilize available systems, tools, and resources to efficiently execute trades and rebalancing decisions. Skills Requirements What Experience You Need: - Bachelor's degree in finance or related field. Advanced degree preferred. - 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry. - 7+ years of portfolio management, portfolio construction, and/or investment consultation experience preferred. - FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or completion within 6 months of hire). - CFA designation (or progress towards) consistent with firm policy. - CFP designation preferred. - Insurance license preferred. - Financial planning experience preferred. - Willingness to travel to meet with clients in their preferred locations. Functional Knowledge: - Advanced technical aptitude, analytical, and critical thinking skills. - Deep knowledge of economic, investment, and portfolio management strategies. - Proficiency in systems thinking, planning and organizing, relationship building, collaboration, critical thinking, and project management. - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. - Ability to lead small groups and conduct
