Job Opportunity: Vehicle Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at Penske. In this role, you will have the opportunity to accelerate your career while helping our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
  • Completing tasks such as tire replacement or rotation, vehicle component lubrication and replacement, electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance
  • Learning from experienced supervisors and master technicians
  • Ensuring that vehicles are safe and well-maintained for our customers

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Problem-solving skills and comfort using tools
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must comply with specific instructions, guidelines, and safety regulations
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this job include regular movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods of time. You will also be required to use your hands frequently and work at various heights and in different weather conditions. The ability to lift and move heavy objects is necessary.
