Job Description

As a lunch aide, you will work with our food service team to ensure a safe environment for students during lunchtime. In this role, you will serve the students and establish positive relationships with them to create an enjoyable experience in the cafeteria. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring student behavior and addressing any issues that arise. Cleaning duties are also a part of this role.

SALARY: $12.00-$17.00/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)

LOCATION: To be determined

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 3 hours/day, 9 months/year

REPORTS TO: Food Service Manager

Qualifications
  • Ability to read and understand written information relevant to the lunchroom
  • Personality traits suitable for a school setting
  • Ability and willingness to assist students in developing and maintaining appropriate behavior in the cafeteria
  • Ability to use sound judgment and stand/walk for at least three hours daily
