How you'll make a difference

As a Line Cook at Wegmans, you are an integral part of our mission to help people live healthier lives through exceptional food. In this role, you will continue to develop and grow your culinary skills in our Wegmans kitchens. You will learn from experienced chefs as you prepare menu items used throughout the kitchen, including prepackaged meals and our fresh, hot food bars. Each day will bring new opportunities to make our customers happy by helping to prepare the items they need for delicious and easy meals. As you continue to learn, grow, and fuel your passion for food, you will find endless possibilities at Wegmans.

What you'll do

• Provide exceptional customer service by preparing ingredients and creating high-quality meals
• Follow recipes, use proper knife skills, and apply cooking techniques to ensure consistent and delicious results
• Efficiently multitask and manage prep work while ensuring timely food preparation at the highest quality

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working in a production kitchen
• Experience with prep work

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts
• Experience as a Prep Cook, Pantry, or Apprentice
• Experience as a Line Cook
