About the Team: The Associate Experience Technology Team is a passionate and fast-paced organization dedicated to transforming the Associate Experience across Capital One. We design and deliver software solutions across various technologies, including enterprise applications, mobile apps, and custom-built solutions. Role Description: As a Director of Technical Program Management, you will play a vital role in building platforms on mobile and web surfaces that will enable delightful experiences for our customers. You will also contribute to expanding the TPM discipline within our team and share your knowledge and experience to empower others. Responsibilities: - Lead teams in building highly scalable platforms, products, or services - Proactively identify and address technical risks throughout the delivery life-cycle - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Solve complex problems and influence decision-making processes - Mentor and develop a team of TPMs Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs - Strong technical background in building scalable solutions - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills - Experience leading teams and developing TPM practices - Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and drive informed decisions - Emotionally intelligent with empathy for teams and partners Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing - Proficiency in building highly scalable mobile products and platforms - Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies - Experience working with cloud computing services/ architecture (preferably AWS) - Previous experience delivering large and complex programs - Familiarity with building systems within highly regulated environments - Master's degree in a related technical field (or equivalent experience) Salary Range: - New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $228,500 - $260,800 - San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $242,100 - $276,300 (Note: Salaries in other locations will vary) Benefits and Incentives: Capital One offers a comprehensive set of health, financial, and other benefits to support your total well-being.
