We are looking for Platform Engineers who are enthusiastic about developing resilient and reliable solutions for our Human Resource technology.
In this role, you will be part of a team that is driving innovation and excellence in Capital One's Human Resource Technology ecosystem. You will work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and business partners to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions. Your expertise in Workday configuration tasks and business processes will be essential in creating a seamless and efficient HR technology experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios.
- Integrate HR strategies and value propositions to meet the needs of the business.
- Deliver efficient solutions across various areas of Workday, such as HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovative solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with HR partners to optimize business results.
- Stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities.
- Maintain thorough documentation for system implementation.
- Provide production support for Workday, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with calculated fields or custom reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
- Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Workday Security or Workday Reporting.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience loading HCM data into Workday using existing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB's).
