Full Time Branch Ambassador- East Suffolk Area

As a Branch Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in our customers' banking experience. You'll engage with people, share your knowledge of our products, and assist with various transactions like check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals. In addition, you'll help prevent fraud and ensure that all operational policies and procedures are followed. Providing quick and efficient resolutions to customer inquiries is also an important part of your role, creating an extraordinary customer experience.

- You're friendly and approachable, able to connect with customers and make them feel welcome. Whether it's helping with technology challenges, engaging in casual conversation, or showcasing our products and services, you know how to connect with people.
- You have the ability to understand and address both personal and business financial needs, helping to reduce customer anxiety. If needed, you can also bring in experts to guide customers towards their financial goals.
- Compliance is important to you, especially when working at a bank. You'll ensure that all audit and security policies and procedures are followed according to bank policy and federal regulations.
- You'll support customers in all areas of the branch, including cash handling and service needs, ensuring every customer interaction is handled with care.
- We believe that every Ambassador is an expert, leading to an improved retail customer experience with fewer handoffs.
- You have a natural curiosity and enjoy learning. We'll provide training on Capital One's products, services, and experiences, empowering you to guide customers towards their financial goals.
- You're tech-savvy. You'll showcase the possibilities within our physical branch, demonstrating how to navigate our mobile and online experiences using our laptops and iPads. You'll also educate customers on other banking channels and additional products and services we offer.
- Being a team player is important to you. You'll work with a dynamic team of banking professionals, inspiring one another.
- You'll research and answer customer inquiries, using various tools and channels to recommend appropriate solutions and enhance customer retention and engagement.
- You'll be able to travel between branches in your assigned local area and provide support wherever you are needed.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
- At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience
- At least 6 months of cash handling experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree
- 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience
