The Opportunity We are currently seeking dedicated professionals for future Entry Level Claims Adjuster opportunities in our San Antonio office. Our work schedules may vary and could include some weekends. We offer new training classes every month, and we strongly encourage military veterans and spouses to apply. As an Associate Auto Claims Adjuster, your role will focus on adjusting non-injury auto claims. Under supervision, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjust low complexity auto insurance claims. You will make a difference to our members by delivering exceptional customer service, providing advice, and delivering appropriate solutions. Responsibilities: - Acquire and apply basic knowledge of auto insurance coverages to evaluate and settle low complexity claims. - Resolve claims through proactive problem-solving and decision-making, while effectively prioritizing work. - Document your thought process including damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement decisions. - Collaborate with external and internal partners to facilitate claims resolution. - Support members, partners, and claimants through effective communication and utilization of digital tools. - Acquire and apply foundational knowledge of the insurance industry and claims handling process. - Support workload surges and catastrophe response operations as needed. Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED. - Ability to provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly using multiple channels. - Ability to prioritize and multitask while navigating through business applications. - Willingness to acquire an insurance adjuster license within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: - US military experience or military spouse/domestic partner. - Bachelor's degree. What We Offer: - Competitive compensation based on experience and market data.
