Position Purpose:

As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will work closely with our Marketing & Community Relations Manager to develop and implement a community outreach plan for our Health Plan. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to support department and company strategies
  • Achieving member growth goals by promoting healthcare programs
  • Maintaining knowledge of healthcare programs and regulatory marketing guidelines
  • Building relationships with community contacts and organizations for outreach engagements
  • Creating and executing promotional plans for new outreach opportunities
  • Coordinating outreach activities and materials at community and health events
  • Attending events to distribute Health Plan information
  • Assisting with scheduling and delivering health education presentations
  • Organizing staff and resources for community events and activities
  • Providing written material to customers upon request
  • Supporting Health Plan programs in schools
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of community outreach experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience in working with government-sponsored populations, particularly Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP
  • Experience in public speaking
  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to lift up to forty pounds

For Oklahoma Complete Health:

  • Ability to lift up to forty pounds
  • Ability to travel throughout the state
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
