Position Purpose:As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will work closely with our Marketing & Community Relations Manager to develop and implement a community outreach plan for our Health Plan. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to support department and company strategies
- Achieving member growth goals by promoting healthcare programs
- Maintaining knowledge of healthcare programs and regulatory marketing guidelines
- Building relationships with community contacts and organizations for outreach engagements
- Creating and executing promotional plans for new outreach opportunities
- Coordinating outreach activities and materials at community and health events
- Attending events to distribute Health Plan information
- Assisting with scheduling and delivering health education presentations
- Organizing staff and resources for community events and activities
- Providing written material to customers upon request
- Supporting Health Plan programs in schools
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of community outreach experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in working with government-sponsored populations, particularly Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP
- Experience in public speaking
- Valid driver's license

- Ability to lift up to forty pounds
For Oklahoma Complete Health:
- Ability to lift up to forty pounds
- Ability to travel throughout the state
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
