Job Duties and Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a caring and skilled individual to join us as a Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant I. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens for testing through venipuncture and capillary puncture. You will also handle clinical specimens in our computer system, answer phone calls, process send out and pathology specimens, greet outpatients, and enter test orders into the computer system.
Shift: Variable Shifts
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Phlebotomy license in the State of California (required)
- One year of experience in a hospital laboratory (preferred)
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing (required)
- Basic computer knowledge (required)
